Who
is Rusty?
This question has been asked thousands of times over the
years by people new to Rusty's, those that have been with
Rusty's from the beginning knew Rusty well. Rusty is
our founder. A very majestic and handsome guy that, for
many years, would greet each and ever customer and their
pets at the entrance of Rusty's Discount Pet Center.
He was loved by everyone that got the opportunity to meet
him. Rusty was a beautiful, intelligent and loving
Sheltie that brought us 14 years of pure joy.
He was our inspiration.
He will be missed.
We plan on being around for many years to come and will
continue in Rusty's memory
our efforts to serve and
protect our best friends. |

Meet Rusty Junior
Rusty Jr. carries on in the
name of his well loved predecessor. Rusty Jr. however is
not a Sheltie but a beautiful Rough Coated Collie with a
great and loving personality. Kids and grown ups alike
come from all over to see Rusty. Rusty loves having his
picture taken with people and animals. Check out the
"Rusty and Friends Pages". And, he greets every customer
at the front door everyday. Rusty is filling the
shoes (paws) of Rusty Sr. in a very good way. Rusty Sr.
would be pride. |

Something
About Rusty's...
Rusty's has been serving the pets of the San Fernando
Valley and surrounding areas since
June 6, 1987. We opened Rusty's with one thing in
mind: To provide a fun, happy and safe environment
for people to bring their pets for services and supplies
their pets need to stay happy and healthy, to feel
confident leaving their pets in our care. We have
been dedicated to the well being of all animals since the
day we opened our doors for business. Throughout the
years, we have helped find loving homes for thousands upon
thousands of abandoned, lost or abused animals by working
with many rescue organizations in the Los Angeles area and
beyond. All of our staff share our love for animals
and support our efforts or they would not be a part of the
Rusty's Team.
